My name is Cassidy Adams.
I am 23 years old, and live in a small town in North Carolina that seems to stand still in time. I do love it there, mostly because it is full of all of my childhood memories and where our little mint chocolate chip house resides, nestled cozily in the mountains...
I am currently journeying (YES "journeying" is the only fit word to describe this crazy experience) through graduate school to become a speech therapist. I love speech therapy, however I dislike loathe the distance it creates between my husband and I. You see...He just got a job in Pennsylvania and I just got accepted last spring to graduate school in North Carolina... This means that we are going to be apart until the Spring of 2013. But after that...Yes we will be moving to Pennsylvania. What an aDvEnTUrE lying ahead of us!

coffee, giraffes, dogs, whimsical gardens, Regis and Kelly, snow, winter, CHRISTMAS, Thanksgiving (because the Christmas season begins!), purses, UGGs, Christmas music, Justin Bieber, 90 Boys Bands (NSYNC, 98 Degrees, BSB), crafts and DIY's, cooking (even though it is a skill I am still trying to work on...), NYC, walking my dogs, running (Im making myself love it this year), leggings, winter coats, Dancing With The Stars, the feeling AFTER you workout, singing in the car alone, "pinning" (if you know what I mean;-), interior design, working outside in flowers, roses, Katie Daisy Art, Pottery Barn, japenese gardens, SNOOPY...

About The Radiant World of Whimz...
Began in the winter of 2011 as something to do after graduating college while I awaited the acceptance (or that other response) into graduate school. I was somewhat worried that I wouldn't be accepted into graduate school and would need a backup plan.
You know when people ask: What would you really love to do? If bills and a slow economy weren't the issue...What is something you would LOVE to do? This is it. I would love to stay at home and create a business from scratch, while blogging about my life and all of the things that I love. It amazes me that this is the reality for some... However I am so blessed to be 1.5 years away from a great job that I do love. I guess its just the school and being away from husband kind of thing that really bums me out.
After being accepted into graduate school, I had no time to blog. I still don't know how often I will get to blog, but blog I will. I love it too much, its such a release and a way to create a world of things that you just love to look at and talk about. It is an out to a world of text books, deadlines, and all night study sessions.
The Radiant World of Whimz is a blog about people, places, and pretty things. It is a place to celebrate life and all of God's beautiful creations and blessings! It is a blog dedicated to the simple things.
Behind the Logo...
Does this little pooch look familar? Well she should, because she is my version of our Snorkie Penny. I chose to draw Penny because I cant think of a better example of a whimsical looking creature than her. My husband and I laugh about how we don't know where she came from because she is such a peculiar looking animal. She is the whimz:-)
As for the Radiance, well that is represented by the peacock feather. A peacock feather represents radiance in every way. Its bright beautiful colors make the Peacock the most beautiful bird around. While life is fun and beautiful, we have someone to thank for that...Jesus Christ. His radiance in my life inspires me to see his creation and the things he has "loaned" out to me as I should (or as I am striving to see them). Thank you for the light you shine in my life everyday Jesus!
