Life Is Beautiful

Hi whimzies!  Welcome back, I hope you had a great weekend...I know that I did!  There is nothing like playing in the February sunshine, spending time with family and furries, while cooking up some yummy meals.

Weekend Pic: Me and Pen after going to a walking trail...we were so tired!

After such a great weekend, and seeing the photograph of the letters "It's a beautiful life"pictured in the center of the collage...I decided to gather up some items from etsy that symbolize some of the things I think make life beautiful.  What do you think?  Can you see beautiful memories being made in each of these photographs?

Friday's Picture of the Week

Next on my home to do list...Decorate our home office.  So yesterday I was browsing pictures for shelves and bookcases on etsy (my part anyway) ....and I found this photograph.  It's not only a beautiful shot but it touched me personally-put a huge smile on my face and made me think of my great dane, Zack.

Thanks to the BEAUTIFUL weather yesterday, Zack and I FINALLY got to take a walk yesterday.  He is honestly the best natured dog in the world, a gentle giant as they say.   I never had to worry about him growling or barking at other people passing by (as I do for my little pooch Penny).  He was a living and breathing "Precious Moments figurine" (Seriously!) with his big orange eyes staring up at me with excitement as we trotted through the spring-like weather.  We had such a great time and hopefully the weather will allow us to continue this weekend with our walks : )  I just couldn't help but have this as the picture of the week in honor of my Zacky.  And I don't think I can help making a purchase of this in the near future to sit on a shelf in our office either!

Breathtaking Jewels & Gems

Jewel and Gem Tones have not only inspired my blog, but they have also been found sparkling and shining at all the recent fashion shows.  Don't you just love the tones of rubies, amethysts, emeralds and sapphires?  Maybe thats why I love peacock feathers...they showcase all of these lovely tones NATURALLY.  Wow!  Who said that God didn't have great taste-just look at the peacock!  Gem and Jewel tones shout elegance and luxury from their beautiful explosions of color.  Which is your favorite?  I am thinking emerald... : )

Happy Friday!

Enchanting Beauty & Simplicity

The overall meaning and significance of a tulip is perfect love...yet different colors have different meanings:
Red-True Love
Purple-Royalty
Yellow-Cheerful thoughts and Sunshine
White-Worthiness or a Message of Forgiveness
Variegated-Beautiful Eyes

I don't have any tulips in my flower bed YET...but I am dying to get some planted and ready for spring.  Not only can we enjoy one of springs prettiest creations but we can find handmade tulip inspiration in the form of earrings, candy, vases, hair clips, baskets, decor, photography and much more at etsy...check out my selections in this collage!

Tulip's are great for a cut flower arrangement or a potted plant gift.  They have become one of the world's most beloved flowers and the gift or presence of a tulip is a sure delight, all while enchanting in it's beauty and simplicity.  So give one to a dear friend or perhaps pick one up as a personal prize, because they make this season all the more beautiful...

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Love: [luhv] noun, verb.  loved, lov-ing
1.  a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.
2.  a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend
3.  a person toward whom love is felt; beloved person; sweetheart.

The definition goes on and on, but what is important is that love is mentioned through out the Bible as one of the most important things we can know, experience, or possess.

On this special day we set aside a day to celebrate love...so let's take the time to tell everyone special to you (and maybe even someone you don't know very well who needs to know they are cared for) how they are loved and appreciated.  It isn't about the chocolate candy heart, or the stuffed teddy bear and ballons, or even the bouquet of beautiful flowers-it's about the greatest gift of all...LOVE.  From our savior to us, and from us to the great people and friends he puts in our life to enjoy.  Let's celebrate God's gift of love today, it is a great blessing to be thankful for!

I know I'm celebrating love today, just look at what God has blessed my life with...

xoxo,
Cassidy

A Perfect Warm February Weekend

We had a BEAUTIFUL weekend full of warmth and sunshine, so my furry friends and I had a much over due play date.  We had so much fun coming out of "hibernation" mode and enjoying the outdoors!  We wanted to share some pictures from our fun day...Hope you enjoy :)

While my poochies were relaxing I went searching for a birds nest
I had discovered last summer in one of our Christmas trees.  Guess
what I found?  The nest AND the eggs-  I wonder what happened?

We told you guys we would let mom take some pictures...but it's back
to neighborhood patrol for now, see you guys next time!
